Effect of catalase on H
formation and on cell survival in LSEC cultures. Formation of H2O2 was measured on LSEC cultures (fluorescence values) during 6 h following the first 24 h of incubation at 5% O2, or at 20% O2 in the presence or absence of catalase (a). Additionally, survival rates at the third day of culture (absorbance values) were measured on dishes treated the same way (b). All results are representative data obtained from two independent experiments.
