  1. Apoptosis (caspase-3) and oncosis (alanine aminotransferase, ALT) were measured 7 h after Gal/ET or Gal/TNF treatment. Animals were pretreated for 18 h with cobalt protoporphyrin (5 or 15 mg/kg CoPP) and 12 h with tin protoporphyrin (15 mg/kg SnPP).
